Consumers Credit Union celebrates the opening of its new Portage Road Office with a ribbon cutting ceremony, June 28, 2012.
Kalamazoo, Mich. – On Thursday, June 28, 2012, Consumers Credit Union is celebrating the opening of its new Portage Road Office, with a ribbon cutting ceremony, at 4023 Portage Street, Kalamazoo. Consumers, which began operations in 1951, currently serves all of West Michigan with 14 full service offices and has more than $385 million in total assets. The ceremony will begin at 11:00am in the credit union’s lobby.
The Portage Road location features 3,100 square feet of office space and the best in banking technology; including a full service lobby, an online banking center, tellers, a loan and member service area, safety deposit boxes, and drive thru lanes and ATM. Other feel-good features are a free coffee bar, children’s play area, and free wireless internet access.
Consumers offers an array of personal financial services, including free checking, free online banking, free bill pay, auto loans, lines of credit, credit cards, home equity loans, Investment Services, and more. Also available are Custom-Made Mortgages and a complete line of business services.
