New Member Testimonial Campaign Announced: Good Times Ahead

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

January 23, 2012

Kalamazoo, Mich. – Consumers Credit Union is launching a member testimonial campaign designed to tell its story one member at a time. Good Times Ahead stems from the belief that members own the credit union – and their stories underscore the success many people are celebrating across West Michigan.

“We are asking members to tell us their stories and are thrilled with the response,” says Kit Snyder, President and CEO. “Members are family to us. To get this heartfelt response is a tribute to our staff who work hard every day.”

Some members are featured in the campaign, including:

  • Jeremiah S, from South Haven, talks about Seriously Free Checking
  • Thomas and Deirdre T, from Holland, talk about Silver Lining Lending
  • Rick O, from Holland, talks about Credit Card Balance Transfers
  • Alex B, from Kalamazoo, talks about Student Accounts
  • Theresa R, from Kalamazoo, talks about Business Services

Members or community partners can share their story by emailing GoodTimesAhead@consumersCU.org.

Consumers worked with local companies to produce the campaign. The companies partnering include Motion Possible, 2Fish Company, and Sound Post Studios. Motion Possible filmed on location capturing the natural enthusiasm of satisfied members. 2Fish Company assisted on site with photography while Sound Post Studios produced the audio for radio. Additionally, Western Michigan University students wrote, sang, and provided instrumental portions of the music.

Consumers is excited about seeing members tell the credit union story. Good Times Are Ahead.
