Consumers Credit Union Visits KVCC’s Winter Welcome

Kalamazoo, MICH – Consumers Credit Union will be onsite at KVCC’s campus (Student Commons) on Monday, January 9, 2012 ALL DAY (10am – 6pm) as part of its annual Winter Welcome.

As part of the event, new and returning students are welcomed back for the winter semester with vendors, games, and free food. Consumers will be onsite to answer questions about the many free banking services available to all students, including Seriously Free Checking, Free Debit Card, Free Online Banking, Free TextBanking, and more.

GAMES & PRIZES! Many prizes will be available at the Consumers booth, including a $200 deposit into a new checking account when ten consecutive “hole-in-ones” are made with the popular Corn Hole game. (FUN!) And, anyone who makes a single hole-in-one automatically receives a free t-shirt or pizza cutter! (While supplies last.) CASH DRAWINGS will also be held for current members and all Facebook fans.

Says Jennifer Knapp, Education & Event Coordinator at Consumers, “We’re happy to welcome KVCC students back for  their winter term. We also want to be a resource for them financially. We offer many services that make life easier both as a student and after they graduate.”
